Hear from Joe – Owner and Founder of Scalp Ethic:

“I started losing my hair in my mid 20’s and felt all the stress and anxiety that comes with this. Anyone, who has or who is currently experiencing this will know exactly what I mean! It drains your confidence and no matter how hard you try to ignore it, it’s always there. For both men and women, there is no worse feeling than thinking people are commenting on your hair, even though they are probably not, but you just feel that’s what’s happening. Also spending hours sometimes trying to get your hair to go in a way that hides your scalp. Mirrors start to become your enemy, or catching your reflection in a window all adds to the discomfort.

Thankfully, SMP has come along and provided a solution for many people without the need of going down the route of a hair transplant, which is costly, and requires continuous follow-up procedures in most cases, depending on what stage your hair loss is at and your age. Also, it’s a surgery and you are going to be left with some sort of scarring which may not be visible to begin with, but may start to show later as you continue to lose your hair… which you will!

Scalp Micropigmentation has changed all of that and it’s suitable for all ages and hair types. There are no surgical procedures and the benefits of this mean there is little downtime for you as most scalp micropigmentation procedures go unnoticed. A lot of clients can go back to work the following day or simply go about their normal daily routines.

We fortunately now live in a time where making changes to our appearance to make us feel better about ourselves is socially acceptable and you will find the people that care about you will be fully behind your decision.

As soon as my treatment finished, I knew I wanted to help others feel the way I do now which is why I trained with one of the most well-known practices based in the UK.”
